*Chapter 1*

"It's all over for, now!" Daniel sighed in relief as he walked off the plane with the rest of the band. Their first world tour had ended and they were back in Brisbane. The tour had been a little rough on Daniel, but he somehow managed to get through it. When they got to the waiting area they were greeted by friends and family. The band said their goodbyes to each other for now and told to keep in touch. After that they went their separate ways with their families. A week had pasted and Daniel was sitting in his huge newly bought house watching tv on his peach sofa in his living room. He was staring blankly at the tv while flicking the channels. Their was nothing good on at 1:00pm on a Sunday afternoon. He was absolutely bored out of his mind. He couldn't call Michelle because she was out of town and at the same time it felt like their relationship was going nowhere. They were living like brother and sister. He decided to leave that thought alone for now and began calling the band one at a time to hear if they were doing anything. The house felt strangely draughty which made him shudder in his T-shirt. Ben, Karl, Anna Maria, and Lee told their excuses and had things to do. So Daniel finally called Darren to hear what was up with him.

"Hello?"

"Hi, it's me"

"Oh, so what's up with you Jonesy?"

"Nothing really, do you want to do something today?."

"Sure, a little later though, I'm at my parents house now. How about dinner at 6, I'll come pick you up."

"Sounds good. If I don't answer the door right away, let yourself in."

"Okay, see ya."

"Bye."

Daniel stood there gazing at the phone. "Oh great, how am I going to kill time until then?" It just hit him. "I forget to see what Nicole's doing!" He said to himself.

"Hello?'

"Hi...Nicole?"

"Yeah, this is she."

"Did I wake you up, you sound drowsy."

"I was just dozing."

"Oh, I'm sorry for bothering you."

"Don't worry about it. I was so bored that the only thing I could think of to do was sleep."

"If you're not busy do you want to do something this afternoon?"

"Yeah, sure like what?"

Daniel thought for a minute. "You can come to my place and we could play pool. I just bought the table and wanted to try it out."

"Okay, I'll be there in a half an hour ok?"

"See you then."

"Bye."

As Daniel was walking away from the phone to the kitchen, he tripped over some books, because of an unexpecting jolt of excitement passed through him. He was puzzled why he felt this way, and shrugged it off. But later he would find out.

*Chapter 2*

Nicole pulled her car up in the double driveway. Wow, Danny boy has got great taste, but he's a lot finer than his house. No doubt. She thought to herself. Nicole just shut up! You know you can't have him. He belongs to someone else. You promised yourself you would get over him. You'll never be with him, he's only going to stay one of your best friends, nothing more. Nicole kept telling herself.

She climbed out of her blue Sunfire and proceeded to the house. She straightened out her outfit which was a black tank top and faded blue jeans. She shifted her weight one foot to the other as she rang the door bell. A minute later Daniel opened the door.

"What happened? You said you'd be here at 2?" He spoke slightly disappointed.

"Sorry, unfortunately my car had trouble starting, and there was a bit of traffic." She replied as he ushered her in.

"Oh, no prob. So have to ever played pool?" He asked as he led her to the game room.

"I hate to admit it, but I never learned how. Me and my sister did played for fun."

"Have no fear, I'll teach you so well by the end of the day you'll be a pro! " Dan said playfully to her with a goofy grin. Nicole couldn't help but giggle.

He started setting up the pool balls and breaking them. He sank one in the left hand corner pocket.

"Hey not bad! I bet I can do better!" She teased. With that she grabbed her own stick from the wall and attempted to hit one in the right hand corner pocket.

Instead she totally missed the ball. She felt her face blush in embarrassment.

"Here let me show you how to hold the stick properly, so it won't go flying up." Daniel reassured her. He stood behind her, with his front touching her back and positioned her arms accordingly. Whoa, I've never been this close to him. Nicole pondered. I've never realized how soft her skin is. And what a body! Daniel shook those thoughts out of his head before continuing. Just then she turned her head which was an inch away from his. They stared intently into each others eyes not exactly sure what to do. It was like they were frozen in time. Surprisingly enough Daniel moved his head to hers and gave her the most deepest kiss he's ever given anybody.
